- Lee Cougan bicycles are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for 3 years from date of purchase. Lee Cougan does not warrant components assembled on the bikes but will actas mediator to assure the qickest possibble solution to the problem when asked. Lee Cougan will replace components only the parts' producer does not have an exclusive rappresentativein the country were the claim has been placed.
- Lee Cougan will replace the defective parts, such as frame, fork, or any part of the bibycle when shown to be defective. It is the right of Lee Cougan to accept the claim or reject it because of misuse the production.
- The warranty is limited to the replacemente of the faulty part and the freight cost. It does not cover labor and handling cost. Should the part to be replaced out of production, Lee Cougan will replace it with the most similat product incurrent production.
- Lee Cougan warranty becomes void if the bicycleor its parts show any evidence of: a) use other than that for which it was designed, b) domage resulting from attempted repairs or improper assembly done by others than Lee Cougan repair service, c) improper storage/safekeeping, d) impacts received during accidents, e) damage resulting from fire earthquake or other acts of God.

WARRANTY PROCEDURE

- Please handle every claim trough your dealer. Do not ship back the part directly to the importerand a claim authoraization number is supplied directly to you.
- Ask your dealer to ship to the importer only the faulty piece (frame, fork, etc.) and attachto th part a letter explaining the problem and how it occured. The letter has to be accompanied by the second half of this warranty card which has to be completed in all of its parts at the time of purchase.
- The warranty is valid only if at the time of purchase the first part of this warranty card has been filled in with your data and stanped by your dealer and sent by mail to th Lee Cougan authoraized distributor in the coutry purchase. Please note that warranty is never an easy subject.Please read this card carefully and help us to serve you better following the steps.

- Die Garantieleisung beschränkt sich auf den Ersatz des fehlerhaften Teils und die Wiedergutmachung der Versadkosten, wobei Verarbeitungs-Kosten von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind. Soll der zu ersetzende Teil nicht mehr in Produktion sein, dann wird Lee Cougan ihn mit einem entsprechenden, auf dem Markt erhältlichen Teil ersetzen.
- Die Garantie von Lee Cougan wird ugülti, wenn das Fahrrad oder irgendein Teil davon Zeichen aufweist von a) produktfremdem Gebrauch, b) Schäden von unsachgemäßen Reparaturen, die micht bei einem Lee Cougan Service-Center ausgeführt worden sind, c) unsachgemäßer Unterbringung, d) Unfällern und e) Schäden wegen Brandfall, Erdbeben oder hoherer Gewalt aller Art.

REKLAMATIONWEQ

- Bitte wenden Sie sich wegen einer Reklamation an den Händler, wo das Fahrrad gekauft wurde. Schicke Sie den Teil nicht direktan an den Importeur, es sei denn, der importeur das ausdrücklich gebilligt und Ihnen eine Reklamationsnummer mitgeteilt hat.
- Veranlassen Sie Ihren Händler nur den fehlerhaften Teil (Rahmen, Gabel usw.) zurückzuschicken und fügen Sie einen Brief bei, worin das Problem erläutert wird. Dem Brief muß die komplett ausgefüllte, untere Hälfte dieses Garantiescheins beilegen.
- Die Garantie ist nur dann gültig, wenn Sie beim Kauf des Fahrrades den oberen Teil des Scheines mit Ihren Daten ausgefüllt haben, wenn der Händler seine Stempel aufgedrückt hat, und wenn Sie besagten oberen Teil des Scheines an den Lee Cougan Importeur des Landes, wo das Fahrrad gekauft wurde, zurückgeschickt haben.
- Bitte nehmen Sie zur Kenntnis, daß eine Garantie nie ein einfaches Thema ist. Bitte lesen Sie sorgfältig diese Bedingungen, damit wir Sie besser bedienen können.

Lee Cougan sostituisce i componenti solo nel caso in cui il prodotto non abbia un rappresentante esclusivo nel paese in cui viene richiesto l'intervento per la garanzi.
- Lee Cougan sostituirà le parti come telaio, forcella, o ogni altra parte della bicicletta che verrà riscontrata difettosa. È un diritto esclusivo della Lee Cougan accettare il reclamo per difetto o rifiutarlo perchè la parte risulta danneggiata da un cattivo uso e non per un difetto congenito.
- La garanzia è limitata alla sostituzione della parte difettosa e copre solo il costo del trasporto. In ogni caso la garanzia non risponde del costo del montaggio o smontaggio e altri costi di gestione. Se la parte da sostituire non dovesse essere più disponibile perchè fuori produzione, Lee Cougan si riserva il diritto di effettuare la sostituzione con il pezzo della produzione corrente più simile a quello da sostituire.
- La garanzia Lee Cougan diviene nulla se la bicicletta o le sue parti presentano evidenza di: a) un uso diverso da quello per cui sono state progettate, b) danno risultante da riparazioni maldestre o montaggio effettuato da personale non facente parte Lee Cougan Repair Service, c) danno causato da conservazione negligente o impropria, d) colpi ricevuti in incidenti , e) danni risultanti da fuoco, terremoto o altre calamità naturali.

PROCEDURA PER ATTIVARE LA GARANZIA

- Restituite le parti difettose solo tramite il vostro negoziante. Non rispeditele personalmente all'importatore Lee Cougan a meno che questo no sia stato preventivamente concordato con lo stesso importatore e non vi sia stato fornito un "Numero di Reclamo" con cui contrassegnare il pezzo reso.
- Chiedete al vostro negoziante di rispedire all'importatore solo il pezzo difettoso smontato dalla bicicletta (telaio, forcella, ecc.) ed allegate a questo una lettera spiegando il problema e come si è manifestato. La lettera deve essere accompagnata dalla seconda parte di questo cartoncino che deve essere stato compilato in tutte le sue parti al momento dell'acquisto.
- la garanzia è valida solo se al momento dell'acquisto la prima parte di questo cartoncino è stata correttamente compilata con i vostri dati personali ed è stato timbrato dal rivenditore e spedito all'importatore dello stato in cui è stata acquistata la bicicletta.
- La gestione delle garanzie non è mai un problema semplice. Per favore leggete attentamente questo cartoncino e aiutateci a servirvi meglio eseguendo quanto vi viene richiesto.

Lee Cougan remplacera des composants seulement s'il y a pas de repésentation du fabricant des composants dans le pays oú la bicyclette a éte achetée.
- Lee Cougan replacera des pièces comme, par exemple , cadre, fourche, ou quelque pièces que soit seulement si elles seront démontrées d'être défectueuses. Lee Cougan retiendra toujours la prérogative de ne pas accepter une réclamation en cas d'emploi abusif du produit.
- La garantie se limite au replacement de la pièce défectueuses et des frais de port. Excluse de la garantie sont le coûts administatifs et du travail. Si la pièce à remplacer ne sera plus en production, Lee Cougan la remplacera avec une pièce comparable qui se trouve sur le marché. - La garantie de Lee Cougan s'annulle si la bicycletteou quelque pièce d'elle démontrent des indications a) d'emploi abusif, b) des dégâts dûs aux réparations inexpertes effectuées par un autre qu'un centre de service autorisé Lee Cougan, c) de depôt non protègé, d) ds accidents, e) des degâts dûs aux incendies, séismes out autres cas de force majeure.

PROCEDURE EN CAS DE RECLAMATION

- D'aboard on s'adress au revendeur ou l'on a acheté la bicyclette. Ne pas renvoyer la pièce directement à l'importateur sans son autorisation accompagnée d'une chiffre de réclamation.
- Le revendeur doit renvoyer seulement la pièce défectueuses (cadre, fourche, etc.) il vous faut y joindre la partie inférieure de la fiche de garantie qui a étée complètement remplie et une lettre qui explique le problème.
- La garantie entre en vigueur seulement si vous aurez renvoyé la partie supérieure de la fiche de garantie complètement remplie et pourvue du timbre du revendeur á l'importateur Lee Cougan du pays où vous avez acheté la bicyclette.
- Nous vous prions de prendre connaissance du fait qu'une reclamation n'est jamais une chose simple et de lire très attentativement les conditions de cette garantie, afin que nous vous puissions mieux servir.
